Hannah

LMHC, NCC

Hannah received her

Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Gonzaga University in 2012.

Hannah has always had a desire to work with individuals diagnosed with

Borderline Personality Disorder

and found her home with DBT when she completed her internship at an

DBT intensive outpatient program.

Hannah was then hired as a clinician and completed her DBT intensive training in 2015.

Hannah also provided intern and licensure supervision, and eventually worked

as a site supervisor for clinical staff prior to starting her private practice.

Since her time as a supervisor, several of her clinicians have become supervisors themselves.

Hannah has developed and provided several training and education opportunities for clinical providers and community members.

​Hannah has a private practice which focuses

on working with individuals with emotion regulation difficulties, as well as, body image issues, eating disorders, and women’s issues.

Shannon

LMHC

Shannon graduated with her MS in Clinical Psychology from EWU in 2001.

Shannon has 17+ years experience with DBT. She has completed a 10 day DBT Intensive & a 5 day Advanced Intensive with Marsha Linehan.

Shannon has worked as a therapist in a

DBT Intensive Outpatient Program

since 2005 and as a supervisor since 2013.

Shannon provides supervision for

graduate level interns and clinical staff.

She continues to lead DBT groups and meet with clients for outpatient therapy.

Shannon has mentored numerous clinicians

(including Hannah & Lori- WMA Co-owners).

Lori

LMHC, LCPC, NCC

Lori has worked in the field

of mental health since 1992.

Lori holds two Master of Arts degrees from Marymount University; one in Forensic Psychology (2003) and one in Community Counseling (2013).

Lori has diverse experience, spending many years working on the east coast as a case manager in Criminal Justice settings as a victim's advocate,

and working with mentally ill inmates. 

She has many years experience in community mental health settings.

She has also worked for the

Florida Department of Children and Families

and the

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

She utilized her knowledge of the criminal justice system in her work as a victim advocate.

Lori also had a one year internship in a

substance abuse treatment setting.

Lori completed her intensive training in DBT when she moved to Spokane (2015) and began working at a DBT intensive outpatient program.

​Lori has a private practice which focuses

on working with individuals with

emotion regulation difficulties. She has an

interest in LGBTQ+, and multicultural issues.

Wise Mind Academy provides one time and ongoing consultation for therapists

working with adults.

 

Consultation is a process that occurs between two mental health professionals, where one is seeking the other’s help, insight, or assistance regarding a particular matter

or problem. 

Wise Mind Academy provides individual as well as group supervision for therapists who work with adult clients. 

 

Through authenticity and compassion, we will help individuals develop their own skills to help clients build a life worth living.
